Vintage Ray Tracey & Knifewing Segura Sterling Lapis Inlay Earrings. Geometric multi-stone inlay triangles dangle on this pair of vintage sterling earrings by Ray Tracey & Knifewing Segura. Both silversmiths, Tracey (Navajo) and Segura (Chiricahua Apache), work out of Gallup near Zuni artists, which their designs are reflective of. Ray Tracey is nationally and internationally known and respected as one of the most outstanding Native American Jewelers. Born and raised on the Navajo reservation in Arizona, Ray began making jewelry at the age of nine. He now has been working professionally as a jeweler since 1977.
These vintage contemporary southwest earrings are the workmanship of award winning artisan Ray Tracey in collaboration with Knifewing.
The large sterling dangle earrings feature lapis lazuli and reddish orange gem mosaic inlay (perhaps coral or spiny oyster).
